Hey there, I’m so glad you’re here!

I live near the California coast with my incredible husband, two awesome kids, and sweet little dog. Equal parts homebody and adventurer, I love good food, great company, and an endless stack of books.

I spent 12 years as a Home Educator, teaching, learning, and exploring with my kids. My daughter just finished the first semester of her freshman year in college (woo-hoo, we made it, this *alternative educational path* really DOES work!). My son successfully transitioned to traditional high school for his freshman year and is currently a sophomore.
